A member asked:

Can your breasts lactate when you're not pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: This is certainly possible and can occur from certain medical conditions (prolactinoma, eg) or medications. Not all breast discharges are normal lactation though and there are other breast related diagnoses that might need to be considered. Probably good to speak with your gyn or primary care provider.
