Contraindication.: Antabuse (disulfiram) like effect, ie. You have adverse effects when combined, including severe vomitting, nausea, etc.

See details: Metronidazole can cause certain GI side-effects. The use of alcohol will increase the risk of these side-effects, especially inflammation of the pancreas.
