Hemorrhoids: In a small population of individuals, apple cider vinegar is apparently effective in treating both internal & external hemorrhoids. Theory states drinking vinegar prevents growth of unfriendly bacteria in the digestive tract. Topically, apple cider vinegar is an effective blood coagulant-stops the bleeding as well as decreasing pain/itching.

YOW!!: Don't believe everything you hear. This would be ineffective at best, and could cause significant irritation to the perianal skin at worst. The basics: increase dietary fiber and fluid (especially water). Avoid straining at stool. Sitz baths are soothing. Stiil ahve concerns? See a colorectal surgeon for an examination and management.
