A member asked:

What does it mean when you have pain and bleed after you pee?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not normal...: It is not normal to have pain and bleeding with urination. One possible explanation is inflammation of the urethra (tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside world). This is called "urethritis" and may be caused by infections. Another thing to consider might be a bladder stone. It would be good to visit with a healthcare provider like a primary care doctor. Hope that this helps.
