The definition generally accepted for virginity is the lack of any past partner sex. Some concentrate on the hymen, but it never developed in some or is lost in non-sexual activities. If you had a regular speculum inserted, it likely stretched or tore the hymen. That can cause pain & bleeding. The incident doesn't change your virgin status, just the shape of your hymen.
