Ankle Pain: In cold weather many joints are sore or painful. If you have had a previous fracture or ankle injury, cold can bring on pain to the joint.Possibility of degernerative joint disease or early arthritis. See if there is a vascular problem such as raynaud's this can cause a vasospasm which can cause foot or toe pain.
