Vasovagal reaction: An overactive vagal nerve reflex can slow down the heart and lower the blood pressure. This usually goes away in minutes when the head is lowered down to the heart level by simply lying down. In someone with hypertension, this could be do to a reaction to your blood pressure medications. Your doctor show know about this.
