Good: Folate (folic acid) is a necessary nutrient, but you get it from a normal healthy diet. Supplements are ok to make sure you get enough. To make sure you get enough, eat "beans and greens". Beans, especially lentils, are very rich in folate, (folic acid) as are greens like kale and spinach.

You can get it from: Food . You do not necessarily to take vitamins and mineral if you eat balanced diet . If you have conditions like intestinal problem, alcohol abuse , gastric bypass or similar condition , you definitely require supplementary vitamins and mineral . You are young and otherwise healthy , i would just advise you to healthy diet
