It may be normal: If your period was shorter than normal, you might have had an anovulatory cycle. This could result in hormonal changes that you are not used to. You might also have had incomplete shedding and your uterus is still trying to expel tissue. If the problem continues, see your gynecologist. A d and c may be in order.
