Not really.: Some spotting is not uncommon in early pregnancy and is usually not dangerous. If the bleeding increases then i would recommend seeing your doctor. That being said if you are really worried - usually your doctor would reassure you by listening to the baby's heartbeat with either a doppler or an ultrasound.

Yes: I would call your doc again and ask him if you might need to be seen today. Hopefully, nothing is wrong, but you should not take it lightly.
