Coping methods: "delusions of grandeur" can be a way of coping with feelings of inadequacy in certain conditions. But a "delusion" is a fixed false belief not impacted by information to the contrary. If it's a true delusion, the person wouldn't have ocd alone--ocd is a non-psychotic disorder. When non-psychotic people are presented with data that conflicts with their feeling, they will accept this.
