Yes: Unfortunately, some women are sensitive to the hormonal side effects associated w/birth control pills eg lower sex drive. Talk to your doc about this & consider switching to lower dose pill. Or consider a non-hormonal form of contraception such as condoms which also reduce risk for sexually transmitted diseases/infections. Btw, your other symptoms suggest depression which can also decrease libido.

Yes !: Some patients can be affected this way by the hormones in the pill you are taking. Ck with your hcp since there are dozens of pills on the market and some have more androgenic effect (male hormone) than others. Simply changing pills may help your libido (sex drive)...!

Yes: The answer is yes and there are several articles regarding this on web M.D. However, you also note other symptoms such as hopelessness and fatigue which are classic for depression. Please see your gynecologist and be screened for depression. If you do have depression the gynecologist can either treat you or send you to a psychiatrist. Psychotherapy should also be part of the treatment as well as many other modalities that the psycho therapist or psychiatrist could address with you. Best wishes.
