Increase: Increase to 30 for two months If not effective, try 35's If still bad, switch to IUD Or use condoms for a cycle to see this is you or the Pill problem Also every person responds to different pills differently. The ratio of estrogen to progestin in the pills affect you too Talk to your doctor to decide which formula will be most suitable weight gain? stress? etc can make you feel miserable too

See answer: Birth control pills can be associated with a variety of bothersome adverse effects unique to each individual. Microgestin has been associated with low sex drive, mood swings (depression, irritability, etc), and weight gain. Not recommended to make any dose adjustments on your own which could result in loss of effectiveness or more side effects. Best to consult your MD about this and other options.
