A member asked:

My first delivery was cesarean, can i take any medication after 16 months for avoiding pregnancy? should it be taken within 72 hours?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Odd question coming from a male, but a female can take any medication she wants or needs to, to avoid pregnancy 16 months after a cesarean section. If you are talking about emergency contraception, that ideally is taken as soon as unprotected intercourse occurs. The sooner after this encounter, the more effective in preventing pregnancy. If you had another question, be sure to ask.
