Vasotor rhinitis: Try using the Flonase two times a day. Make sure you are spraying the medication correctly with the head down and the spray pointed towards the eye on the same side so the spray is off the septum. You could also try atrovent (ipratropium) spray. Your doctor has to write for it. If all medications do not work it is conceivable that a surgical option can be successful : submucous resection of the inf?erior t.

Turbinate hypertroph: Enlarged turbinates are a common problem. You can have an ENT reduce them surgically or you might need more than one medication to reduce the inflammation. People always stop one med and start another. Why not try a couple together. When treating htn, diabetes, cholesterol we often add multiple meds....Why not the same with your nose?

Vasomotor rhinitis: I recommend both drs. Mutnick & stachler's answers: try combination of both Flonase (or other similar nasal corticosteroid) & atrovent nasal (anticholinergic).
