My boyfriend is freaking out because the fear of pregnancy how do i calm him down? i am on yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) i take it religiously everyday.

How to get Pregnant?: Not sure what to say to him except that if he is that worried then he can do what many other couples do and this is to wear a condom from start to finish when having intercourse.

Let him use condom: He sounds worried because he has to trust too many different things: the pill, your compliance, etc he can use condoms which is a method under his control.

Take precaution.: The birth control pill is an excellent form of contraception if taken properly. That means at the same time daily and not mixing with antibiotics or other medications if possible. If you take other medications, over the counter or prescribed, ask your pharmacist if they lessen the effectivity of the birth control pills. If he is that concerned, consider wearing a condom or abstinence.
