Throat tightening: Any throat tightening will make you panic, the question is what came first, the tightening or the panic? Depending on what you ate it may be an allergic reaction. See an allergist to put your mind at ease.

Throat tightness: What you are experiencing is likely anxiety and not an allergic reaction. Tightness in the throat can occur with emotions as well. Try relaxing techniques, focus on you "happy place" and take deep breaths. Think about what makes you happy and this situation will improve. Allergic reactions cause mouth lip and tongue swelling and are a different discussion. Feel better!
