You: From that mix of genetic predispositions, personal character and history, experiences and a mix of hormones and neurotransmitters that constitute your psyche. The limbic system, hippocampus, temporal lobes, amygdala, prefrontal lobes, and many other parts of your brain participate by modulating the equation. As a result of all this, and more, emotions appear. Great question !
