I seem to have this chronic almost-headache...meaning, i don't have a full blown headache, but when i shake my head, it's painful. what could it be?

Anything: Sinus problems, eye strain, migraine etc can all cause chronic headache. Sinus problems for example are common. Start with your pcp for an assessment and go from there.
