Usually: Most women will have ovulated 14 days prior to the start of their menstrual cycle. If your cycle is 28 days, then ovulation would normally occur on day 14. On a 30 day cycle, ovulation would normally occur on day 16. This is a general rule and may not occur with 100% accuracy.

Very close: Ovulation always occurs 14 days before your period. So if your cycle is 28 days then you ovulate on cycle day 14.
