More info needed: If you have a cut or laceration that is bleeding and too big for a band-aid or two - why wait? An urgent care clinic should be sufficient and if they think you need more, they'll tell you. When in doubt about trauma treatment, ask someone knowledgeable to look at it and give an opinion or decide for you. It might get better anyway - but it might get much worse. Best wishes.
