Yes: Glucose (sugar) is regulated by Insulin which lowers glucose. When there is too much glucose in your system your body will try to lower it quickly with Insulin which can then also cause low glucose which your brain also does not like. Best is to aim for moderation, add fiber to your diet, avoid processed foods, soda, etc and get regular exercise as this also helps with insulin/glucose metabolism.
