Orajel: Baby orajel. I would also consider seeing your doctor to make sure it is simply teething and not something more serious.

Depends: It depends on what kind of sores and how many sores. Basically, provide the child with lots of liquid, preferably cold ones, soft diet like jello, puddings, ice cream, yogurt or frozen yogurt temporary and seek doctor's appointment. Tylenol (acetaminophen) may help relieve the pain temporary too.
