When i have a headache it only goes away if i sleep and take tylenol (acetaminophen). but if i do one without the other it doesn't work. why is that?

Headaches: If your headaches are occasional and you need this sometimes its fine, there is no clear explanation why.

See below: Sleep helps alleviate or terminate migraine headaches in many. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is of modest benefit at most in migraine. Tension headaches might respond to both tylenol (acetaminophen) and sleep. If the ha's are a problem, seek help from a doctor.
