Is it ok to have anesthesia if no sleep night before?

Yes: Why you could not sleep? Pain, nervousness? Talk to your anesthesiologist. But, I do not see a reason not to put you to sleep. You will have a great nap in a control environment.

Insomnia/anesthesia: Yes, it is perfectly fine to have anesthesia if you did not sleep the night before. However, you should mention this fact to your anesthesiologist so that he can take this factor into account during his management of your anesthesia.

Yes: The anesthetic medicine will work with or without sleep the night before the scheduled surgery. Good luck.
