How long due chigger bites last?

A week or so : Chigger bites can be symptomatic from 4 or 5 days up to 2 weeks in the worst cases. Cortisone cream can help. Excessive scratching can lead to skin infection. Prevention is the best bet: long sleeves and pants, and insect repellent.

Chigger Bites: Chigger bites usually heal on their own within one to two weeks. In the meantime, control itching with an over-the-counter anti-itch cream, such as Hydrocortisone cream. Consult your doctor if your skin appears infected or if the bites seem to be spreading to other parts of your body.
