A member asked:

If the inside of your vagina is red what does that mean ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually infection: Redness typically means irritation or infection. The normal color of the vagina and vaginal vestibule (the area that is technically outside the vagina that you can see between the inner labia/lips) is a pale pink. Normally, you can't actually see the inside of your vagina without a speculum (the spoon-like instrument that your dr uses to take a pap smear). I'd suggest you see your dr.
