Klonopin (clonazepam) 0-24 d: Often Klonopin (clonazepam) is not tested for. A blood level often needs to be obtained because Clonazepam does not break down to Oxazepam which is used in the assay. Frustrating for us docs who want a quick test of patient compliance! but, there are some assays out there for it for urine detection so i put up to 24 days if your use was chronic. Blood levels peak in 1 to 8 hours after a single dose. Have life is nine to 50 hours. Five times half-life is the time that it should take for a single dose to leave the bloodstream. Brain levels do correspond to blood levels.
