Ibuprofen: This depends on the strength of the tablet. If you are referring to the otc version which are 200 mg per tablet, three tablets are fine. However, if you are referring to the prescription strengths of 400 mg, 600 mg, or 800 mg, then 3 tablets in a 2 hour period is definitely too much. It's always best to follow the directions on the label.
