Yellow tongue & ISD: The mouth is the gateway to the body. A disturbance in the mouth can reflect conditions elsewhere. Especially those folks with an isd( immuno- suppressive disease)if there is fever or pus seek immediate medical attention. There are many therapies that increase life and quality of life.

HIV & Yellow Tongue: Many times people with HIV are more susceptible to fungal infections, this can be due to medicines or a compromised immune system. I would go and see your healthcare provider to determine if that is what it is. You can also try a tongue scraper to see if the yellow stuff comes off. Either way i would get it checked.

It is normal: A yellow tongue is temporary and harmless and common in morning when you wake up. Having yellow stuff on your tongue is not sign or symptom of HIV.
