Yes, but see a MD: Bleeding from hemorrhoids are fairly common, generally the trauma of passing hard stools, vigorously wiping the anus or from manipulation, and will usually stop. However, changing diet and bowel habits, as well as minimizing trauma will prevent rebleeding. Otherwise, surgical removal or banding of the hemorrhoids may be warranted.
