Missed pill: While you have missed one pill, you should still be protected from pregnancy. However, if this was your first month on the pill and you weren't using a back up method, you may become pregnant. It is normal in the first three months of starting a birth control pill to have irregular bleeding. If a pregnancy test is negative, i would recommend you continue with your pills and monitor your bleeding.
