No: If you miss a period and take a home pregnancy test, you're pregnant. The amount of bleeding or frequency of bleeding is almost always due to changes in hormones. If you had unprotected intercourse and are worried you might be pregnant, take a test. That's the quickest way to know. Good luck!

If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test .
