Can transvaginal sonography detect laceration during intercourse?

Speculum enough: Usually a vaginal speculum exam is sufficient to find a laceration unless there is a deep abscess associated with the laceration in which event the ultrasound may be useful.

Thanks for asking!: Clinical exam is the best to identify a vaginal laceration ie speculum and a good light. Sonography can detect a large laceration, fluid cavity, damage to the wall. You need a good gynecologist.
