Possibly: Ct scans of sinuses are generally very good tests to evaluate for sinus disease. However, all tests can have their faults. If there is still something wrong that fits into sinus disease then you may need to see an ENT and possibly get a scope.

It can be missed.: Up to 40% of asymptomatic adults have some abnormalities on non contrast sinus ct and even a greater percentage of people with chronic sinusitis may have a "normal" sinus ct. So the ct scan is far from perfect.
