EBV: Ebv in adults doesn't manifest this way. Most adults have already developed antibodies to it from mono in childhood. I would be looking for a different cause.

You can : Get a rash from acute eb infection but the rash may have nothing to do with a positive eb blood test.

Possibly: But unlikely. It is not clear how the diagnosis of ebv infection was established, since it it not commonly seen in adults of your age and the serologies are often misinterpreted. Without seeing these lesions would suggest that you have a dermatologist see these. Good luck.
