Zoloft (sertraline): Common initial side effect, eased up by taking the medicine on full stomach or splitting the dose to 25mg. Twice daily with meals. Ofcourse, discuss with your prescribing doctor first. Best wishes.

Give it a week: This is a common early side effect that (hopefully) will stop after 3-4 days. If it doesn't stop, advise your doctor and perhaps switch to another drug. If your emotional symptoms are moderate to mild and the other drugs also have bad side effects for you, consider talk therapy. For some issues, it is an important part of treatment even if you can tolerate those medications. Pills don't teach.

Sensitive to dose: Call your doc and ask if you call lower the dose to 25mg a day for a week to give your system a change to adjust before raising the dose. This usually takes care of it. There is no rush to the therapeutic level. It will take the same amount of time anyway to work.
