Depends: Sometimes you may have had a large follicular cyst that the egg came from that burst and there is blood that collects down low in your abdomen. It can be extremely painful and not resolve until the body absorbs this fluid. Be patient but if very severe check it out with your doctor just to be certain everything is ok.
