Very likely: I am assuming that you have a recto-vaginal fistula meaning that the communication is between the rectum and vagina? Definitely, your recurrent uti's are related to the presence of ecoli near the urethra. I am assuming that you have consulted an OB who has considered crohn's disease and recommended a surgeon?

Yes to uti: The discharging anal fistula, in a female will colonize the genital area. This will be the source of bacteria ( commonly e-coli ). You may consider the fistula surgically treated to eliminate the source of bacteria. Remember repeated use of antibiotics will eventually make you resistant to the antibiotics, which is a dangerous situation to be in.Zk.
