A member asked:

Is there a likeliness of pregnancy from missing the last week of your bc pills? does it make it more likely if you miss them?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and No: The symptoms that occur during the time right before your period comes definitely are similar to symptoms of pregnancy: bloating, tender breasts, sometimes nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain/fullness. If you skip your last week of placebo pills and go straight to next pack, no, that doesn't increase your risk for pregnancy if that was your question. Hope that helps!
