Check up: Don't worry but see a doctor for an exam. Fibrocystic breast condition is very common, benign, does not lead to cancer, and can recur or persist even after prior breast surgery. The condition can affect the breast with tender lumps or cysts. See a doctor to be sure.

Pain after surgery: It is advisable that you have yearly follow up with your breast surgeon. If you are having any new symptoms you should be re-evaluated.

See Doctor: Probably no need to “worry” but best to be seen by your physician for examination. Best wishes.
