I depends: On your definition of addictive. Some things are physiologically addictive. Some are only psychologically addictive. Benzodiazepines can be both, but only for susceptible people. If you know that you have a tendency to addiction, if you abuse alcohol or other drugs, or if you find that you cannot tolerate the slightest bit of anxiety, then please speak to your doctor about alternative treatments.

Yes it can be: Yes valium can be addictive. It is in a class of medications known as benzodiazepines which are addictive especially if taken daily. Diazepam is long acting. Discuss its addictive potential with your physician and take as prescribed.
