Probably not: Meprate is a synthetic progestin (medroxyprogesterone acetate) used to control bleeding or sometimes in pcos to induce menstrual bleeding. There are a variety of side effects that can be annoying. Acne is one of them so meprate is not a good choice for controlling acne. Management of elevated testosterone in pcos may help.
