Not likely: More likely it would be perleche, which is also called angular cheilitis. It is not associated with a vitamin deficiency. To treat it you can buy Hydrocortisone cream 1% and Clotrimazole cream, mix a small amount of both on the fingers and apply to the rash three times a day for a week or so. If it is herpes then it will enlarge and become a group of blisters.
