IBS & dietary : Imbalances (too much fermentation created gas) in diet and ibs in general can do that. Lactose intolerant people might see that. I don't know if it is a problem on it's own. Ibs can be quite painful. Hope you're well!

Frothy stools: Infection can. If you have a problem with your pancreas some foods won't digest properly (such as fat) can can create such an appearance.
