See an ENT: See an ENT surgeon. Lymph nodes could be inflamed or it could be something more serious. Hard to tell with seeing the doctor, preferably and ENT surgeon.

Probably glands: Bumps under the chin are more likely submental salivary glands and have nothing to do with your thyroid. Go check with your doctor.
