Pregnancy Massage: Considered beneficial in most aspects during pregnancy if person is trained to deliver "pregnancy massage". Has been some trepidation in the past during the first trimester due do concerns or precipitating spontaneous abortion. No research exists that demonstrates it is contributory, many benefits, but do you homework and find someone trained and experienced.

Not at all: Extremity(arms and legs) and back massage are o.K during pregnancy anytime. Abdominal massage needs to be mindful of the presence of the infant and not be forceful.
