A member asked:

Do colonoscopies see the duodenum?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Colonoscopy gets to the proximal start of the colon. The duodenum is the beginning of the small intestine into which the stomach empties. To see the duodenum, a telescopic tube is inserted through the mouth and past the stomach.
