How to stop my period after it has started?

Normal period <=7d: Normal periods should last 7 days or less. If you are bleeding longer than this, there are many possible causes, but this should be investigated. Hormonal treatments (such as combined birth control pills or synthetic progesterone) can stop a prolonged period, but the cause should first be determined.
