Not likely: There are a few treatable causes of atrial fibrillation however in most, there is no such cause found. Cure is possible by ablation procedure which in general does not have a great success rate, except perhaps in the hands of a selected few experts. For most people, treatment with medication is recommended which may offer rhythm control, i.e. Keep in normal rhythm.
